Date Range Selection / Column Presets & Table Customization
The AI Decisions table can generate a large volume of records over time as the system continuously applies optimization actions across campaigns.
To help advertisers analyze these decisions more effectively, the interface includes several tools for controlling the data displayed in the table. These tools allow users to adjust the time period being analyzed and customize how information is presented.
The primary controls available for this purpose include:
- Date range selection
- Column visibility and arrangement
- Column presets for saving table views
Together, these features allow advertisers to tailor the AI Decisions interface to match their reporting and analysis needs.
Date range selection

The date range selector determines the time period for which AI decisions are displayed in the table.
Since automation can generate many decisions over time, adjusting the date range helps focus the analysis on a specific time window.
Advertisers may choose to review decisions from periods such as:
- the last 24 hours
- the last 7 days
- the last 30 days
- a custom date range
Changing the selected date range updates the decision table to display only the actions that occurred within the chosen timeframe.
This allows advertisers to analyze how automation behaved during specific optimization periods or after particular campaign changes.
Column customization

The AI Decisions table includes multiple columns that describe the details of each optimization action.
However, not every column may be relevant for every analysis. For this reason, the interface allows users to customize which columns are visible in the table.
Column customization allows advertisers to:
- show or hide specific data fields
- rearrange column order
- focus on the metrics most relevant to their analysis
For example, a user may choose to display only columns related to:
- campaign name
- decision type
- action taken
- timestamp
This helps simplify the table view and reduce unnecessary visual clutter.
Column presets

To make table customization more efficient, the system also allows users to save column presets.
A column preset stores a specific table configuration, including:
- selected columns
- column order
- table layout preferences
Once a preset is saved, it can be applied again later without needing to manually reconfigure the table.
This feature is especially useful for advertisers who regularly analyze AI decisions from different perspectives.
For example, one preset might be configured for:
- bid decision analysis
while another preset might focus on:
- negative keyword actions
Using presets allows advertisers to switch quickly between different reporting views.
Benefits of table customization
These customization features improve the usability of the AI Decisions page by allowing advertisers to organize and analyze automation data more efficiently.
Adjusting the date range and table structure helps users:
- focus on relevant optimization activity
- reduce unnecessary data in the interface
- analyze decisions from multiple perspectives
- build repeatable reporting views
By tailoring the table layout to their workflow, advertisers can more easily understand how EVA’s AI optimization system is managing their campaigns.
