Which of My Ad Strategies is Actually Working Better?
Step 1: Set a consistent time window before comparing

Go to Advertising Overview and set:
- Daily, Weekly, or Monthly
- Period date range
This ensures both campaigns are compared under the same time grouping and the same date window.
Step 2: Find the two campaigns you want to compare

Use:
- Search by campaign name or campaign ID
- Add Filter using:
- Campaign info
- Sales and revenue
- Advertising
This helps you locate the two campaigns and ensures your list reflects the right campaign set.

From the Add Filter window, users can select metric of interest and add an operator and a value to filter certain campaigns meeting that particular threshold.
Step 3: Review campaigns in “Cards” view or “Table” view
Under Trends Overview, campaigns can be viewed in:
- Cards view for quick scanning

- Table view for detailed comparison

Cards view includes:
- Campaign name
- Campaign status (paused or enabled)
- Metrics chosen from the Manage Metric session
Table view includes:
- Campaigns in rows
- Selected metrics and increase or decrease trend
- Ability to add additional metrics using “Columns”
Step 4: Select two campaigns and click “Compare”

When selecting two items from the Advertising Overview section in both table and card view:
- A comparison tab appears
- Click the Compare button to open the comparison view
EVA shows the performance metric comparison of the two selected campaigns in table format.
Step 5: Use the comparison table to decide which strategy is working better

In the comparison table:
- Both campaigns are shown side by side
- Metrics are listed in a table format so you can compare them directly
Step 6: Interpret the green highlight per metric
Better performing campaign in a specific metric will be marked with green. The highlight is applied per metric row, so one campaign may be highlighted for one metric and not highlighted for another.
Step 7: Adjust table metrics using “Columns” if you need a clearer comparison

If you need additional metrics for strategy comparison:
- Switch to Table view
- Click Columns to add additional metrics to the table
- Use the updated table view to validate which metrics matter most, then return to Comparison View if needed
Step 8: Export campaign data for reporting

When you want to share results or continue analysis outside EVA:
- Click Export to export campaign data based on your current setup.
