Campaign Creation Schedule Logic
The Campaign Creation Schedule determines how frequently EVA evaluates the Automated Campaign Creation (ACC) configuration and generates new campaigns.
Instead of continuously creating campaigns, ACC operates in scheduled cycles. During each cycle, the system evaluates the campaign creation rules, the defined product scope, and the selected campaign types to determine whether new campaigns should be generated.
This scheduling mechanism allows advertisers to control how often automation runs and prevents campaigns from being created too frequently.
Scheduled automation cycles
ACC runs according to the Schedule Auto Campaign Creation setting defined during the ACC setup configuration.
This schedule determines how often EVA checks whether new campaigns should be created.
Typical scheduling intervals include:
- Every 7 days
- Every 14 days
- Every 30 days
When the selected interval is reached, EVA performs an automation cycle.
During this cycle, the system evaluates the configuration and determines whether campaign creation conditions are satisfied.
What happens during a campaign creation cycle
When the scheduled automation interval is reached, EVA performs a structured evaluation process.
- First, the system checks the product scope configuration to determine which products are eligible for campaign creation.
- Next, the system evaluates the campaign types selected in the Campaign Types panel to determine the campaign structures that can be generated.
- After identifying eligible products and campaign types, EVA applies the campaign template configuration defined in the ACC Strategy Optimization rule.
- Finally, the system creates campaigns that follow the defined rules and template settings.
This process ensures that newly created campaigns follow the predefined advertising strategy.
Controlling automation frequency
The campaign creation schedule allows advertisers to control how frequently automation generates campaigns.
Shorter intervals allow campaigns to be created more frequently, which may be useful for:
- rapidly expanding product catalogs
- testing new advertising strategies
- scaling campaign coverage quickly
Longer intervals reduce how often the system creates campaigns, which may be useful when advertisers prefer a more controlled expansion of campaigns.
Selecting an appropriate scheduling interval helps ensure that automation aligns with the advertiser’s campaign management strategy.
Interaction with optimization rules
The campaign creation schedule works together with the ACC Strategy Optimization rules.
While the schedule determines when the system evaluates campaign creation, the optimization rules determine how campaigns are structured and what configuration they follow.
This separation ensures that advertisers can control both the timing and the structure of automated campaign generation.
