ACC Budget Configuration
Automated Campaign Creation (ACC) uses several budget parameters to control how advertising spend is allocated across campaigns generated by the automation system.
These budget settings determine both the overall spending limit for automated campaigns and the budget structure applied to each individual campaign created by ACC.
Understanding how these parameters work together helps ensure that automated campaign creation remains aligned with the advertiser’s budget strategy.
ACC budget configuration consists of two main layers:
- Automation-level budget settings
- Campaign template budget settings
Each layer serves a different purpose within the automation system.
Automation-level budget: Total Daily Budget
The Total Daily Budget is defined during the ACC Settings configuration.
This value represents the maximum total daily spend that can be allocated across all campaigns generated by Automated Campaign Creation.
It acts as a global budget limit that controls how much advertising spend can be distributed through automated campaigns.
For example:
Total Daily Budget = $15
In this case, the combined daily spend of all campaigns generated by ACC will not exceed $15.
This budget limit helps prevent automated campaign generation from exceeding the advertiser’s intended daily advertising spend.
Campaign-level budget configuration
In addition to the automation-level budget, ACC also requires budget parameters within the campaign template settings used when generating campaigns.
These settings determine how budgets are assigned to individual campaigns created by the system.
Total Budget
The Total Budget defines the total budget allocated to campaigns created under a specific ACC strategy optimization rule.
This value determines the overall campaign budget applied to campaigns generated using that rule.
Example:
Total Budget = $100
This means that campaigns created under the rule will operate within the defined campaign budget structure.
Budget Per Campaign
The Budget Per Campaign determines the daily budget assigned to each campaign generated by the automation system.
Example:
Budget Per Campaign = $10
If the automation system generates multiple campaigns, each campaign will receive the configured daily budget value.
For example, if three campaigns are created and the budget per campaign is $10, each campaign will operate with a daily budget of $10.
This parameter ensures that newly generated campaigns receive a consistent daily budget allocation.
How ACC budget parameters work together
The different budget parameters work together to control both the scale of automated campaign creation and the spending structure of generated campaigns.
- Total Daily Budget limits the overall advertising spend allocated to campaigns generated through ACC.
- Total Budget defines the campaign-level budget structure used within an automation rule.
- Budget Per Campaign determines the daily budget assigned to each individual campaign created by the system.
Together, these settings ensure that automated campaign creation remains within defined spending limits while still allowing campaigns to operate with consistent budget allocations.
Advertisers can adjust these parameters depending on how aggressively they want the automation system to create and scale campaigns.
