How To Manage Matched (Unified) Products?
Matched products are shown in the Unified Catalog after Amazon products and Shopify variants are connected.
These unified products represent a single product across channels and can be reviewed, updated, or modified at any time.
Step 1: Open the Unified Catalog

- Navigate to Catalog
- Select the Unified Catalog tab
This is where all matched products are displayed.
Step 2: Locate matched products

Matched products appear in the matched section of the interface.
Each unified product represents a connection between:
- an Amazon product
- a Shopify variant
Unmatched products remain in separate columns.
Step 3: Expand a unified product

Click on a unified product to expand it.
This allows you to view:
- linked Amazon ASIN(s)
- linked Shopify variant(s)
- product details from each channel
This view helps verify that the correct items are connected.
Step 4: Review match details
Inside the expanded view, you can review:
- product identifiers (ASIN, SKU, Variant ID)
- price information
- match type (manual or smart)
This step ensures the match is accurate.
Step 5: Remove a match if needed
If a match is incorrect:
- Open the unified product
- Locate the linked item
- Remove the connection
Once removed:
- the products return to the unmatched state
- they become available for re-matching
Step 6: Continue matching from unified view
From the Unified Catalog, you can continue working:
- match additional products
- review existing matches
- correct mismatches
This allows you to manage your entire product connection workflow in one place.
Step 7: Use search and filters for matched products
Use search and filtering to locate specific unified products.
You can:
- search by product name, ASIN, or SKU
- filter datasets to focus on specific product groups
This is useful when managing large catalogs.
Step 8: Maintain your unified catalog over time
Matched products should be reviewed periodically.
You may need to:
- update incorrect matches
- connect newly added products
- ensure consistency across channels
Keeping the Unified Catalog accurate improves all downstream processes.
Pro Tip
After matching, always expand a few unified products to verify correctness before continuing.
Catching mismatches early prevents issues in analytics, pricing, and advertising workflows.
