Preview & Test Logic
Overview
The Preview & Test feature allows you to review how your email template will appear before it is used in a campaign.
While the editor shows a working version of your template, Preview mode simulates the final output as it would be seen by recipients. This step is essential for validating layout, content, and overall presentation before saving or sending.
Using Preview & Test helps ensure that your email is accurate, visually consistent, and ready for delivery.
Where to access Preview & Test

The Preview & Test option is available in the top area of the Email Builder editor.
Selecting this option opens a preview view of your template.
What preview shows

Preview mode displays the email as a finished output rather than an editable layout.
In this view:
- content is shown without editing controls
- layout is rendered as it will appear to recipients
- styling and spacing reflect the final design
This allows you to evaluate the template without distractions from the editor interface.
What to validate in preview
Before finalizing your template, use Preview to check:
- overall layout structure
- content accuracy
- spacing and alignment
- visual consistency
- readability of text
This step helps identify issues that may not be obvious while editing.
Testing your template
In addition to visual preview, the feature may include testing capabilities depending on configuration.
Testing allows you to:
- simulate how the email behaves in a real environment
- verify that content appears correctly
- confirm that interactive elements function as expected
This adds an extra layer of validation before using the template in campaigns.
How preview fits into the workflow
Preview is typically used after:
- layout has been defined
- content has been added
- styling has been applied
It acts as the final review step before saving or using the template.
Why Preview & Test matters
Using Preview & Test helps you:
- detect layout or content issues early
- ensure consistency across the template
- avoid errors in live campaigns
- improve overall email quality
Skipping this step increases the risk of sending emails with formatting or content problems.
