Template Search, Actions & Organization
What is template search?
The Search templates tool allows users to quickly locate SMS templates within the Templates workspace. As the number of templates grows, search helps users find the correct template without manually browsing the entire template library.
The search field is located at the top of the Templates page. When a keyword is entered, the template list updates automatically to display templates that match the search input.
Search is particularly useful when users know the name of the template they want to edit or when they want to confirm whether a template already exists.
Template actions
Each template displayed in the Templates workspace includes actions that allow users to interact with the template directly.
The most common action available on a template card is Edit Template, which opens the SMS template editor where the message content can be modified.
These actions allow users to quickly access templates and update their content without navigating away from the Templates workspace.
Organizing the template library
The Templates workspace provides multiple tools that help keep SMS templates organized and easy to manage.
Users can organize their template library by combining:
- status filters, which group templates by lifecycle stage
- search, which helps locate templates by name
- template cards, which provide quick visual identification of templates
Using these tools together makes it easier to manage large numbers of templates and maintain a clean, structured SMS template library.
