How To Navigate and Understand the Catalog Page?
The Catalog page allows you to view, organize, and connect your products across different sales channels.
It combines product data from:
- Amazon (ASIN-based structure)
- Shopify (variant-based structure)
- EVA’s unified product layer (after matching)
This page is used not only to browse products, but also to create connections between channels, which directly impacts analytics, pricing, and advertising performance.
Step 1: Open the Catalog page

- Navigate to Catalog from the left navigation panel.
- The Catalog page will load with your product data.
When the page opens, EVA may automatically analyze your catalog and surface matching opportunities.
Step 2: Review match suggestions (popup)

When entering the Catalog page, a Match Suggestion popup may appear.
This popup shows products that EVA recommends matching between Amazon and Shopify.
Each suggestion includes:
- Amazon product (ASIN, price, SKU)
- Shopify variant (Variant ID, price, SKU)
- Match score (0–100%)
- Similarity breakdown (Title, Price, SKU)
You can take the following actions:
- Apply Match → Creates a unified product by linking both items
- Do it later → Keeps the suggestion for future review
- Dismiss & Don’t Show Again → Removes the suggestion permanently
You can also enable:
- Don’t show me recommendations again → prevents the popup from appearing on future page loads
This step is recommended, as matching products ensures more accurate data across EVA.
Step 3: Understand catalog tabs

At the top of the page, you can switch between different catalog views:
- Unified Catalog → Shows matched products across channels. It is only available if both Amazon and Shopify accounts are connected
- Amazon Catalog → Shows raw Amazon products (ASIN-based)
- Shopify Catalog → Shows Shopify variants
Each tab represents a different layer of your catalog.
Step 4: Search for products

Use the Search bar to quickly find specific products.
Search supports:
- Product name
- ASIN
- SKU
- Variant ID
This is useful when working with large catalogs.
Step 5: Switch between catalog layers during your workflow
Different tasks require different catalog views:
- Use Amazon / Shopify tabs → to review raw product data
- Use Unified tab → to manage matched products
- Use Listing Optimization to optimize your product(s)’ content with the help of AI tools.
Switching between these views is a normal part of catalog management.
Pro Tip
Start by reviewing Match Suggestions when opening the Catalog page.
This ensures your products are properly connected early, which improves:
- Reporting accuracy
- Pricing decisions
- Advertising performance
