Overview

The Chat page in EVA Brand Flow is used for internal communication across Account Spaces. A space acts as a shared conversation environment where team members can exchange messages, discuss issues, and organize communication related to a specific account or workflow.

The Chat interface is structured into three main areas:

  • Space List: where you browse, search, and create spaces
  • Conversation Area: where messages in the selected space are displayed
  • Thread Panel: where replies to specific messages are organized

These sections work together to keep communication structured and easy to follow.

Step 1: Open the Chat page

From the left navigation menu, click Chat.

The Chat page opens and displays the conversation workspace. Initially, the main area may show a message asking you to select a space before starting a conversation.

Step 2: Account Spaces

Account Spaces contain conversations connected to specific accounts or operational contexts. Each space functions as a dedicated discussion area where team members collaborate and share messages.

Step 3: Browse the available spaces

The Space List on the left side displays available spaces.

Each space card shows:

  • The space name
  • A preview of the latest message
  • The timestamp of the most recent activity

Selecting a space opens the conversation associated with that space.

Step 4: Search for a space

If you have many spaces, use the Search Spaces field.

Type the name of the space you want to find. The list automatically filters to show matching spaces.

This helps you locate conversations quickly without scrolling through the entire list.

Step 5: Create a new space

To start a new conversation area:

  1. Click Create
  2. Define the space details
  3. Save the space

Once created, the new space appears in the space list and can be opened like any other space.

Step 6: Open a space conversation

Click any space from the list to open its conversation.

The Conversation Area in the center of the page shows:

  • Message history
  • User avatars
  • Message timestamps
  • The order of messages within the space

Messages appear chronologically so you can follow the discussion easily.

Step 7: Send a message

At the bottom of the conversation area, use the message composer.

To send a message:

  1. Click the message input field
  2. Type your message
  3. Click the Send button

Your message immediately appears in the conversation.

Step 8: View and respond to message threads

Some messages may include threads, which organize replies related to a specific message.

When a thread is opened:

  • The Thread Panel appears on the right side
  • Replies connected to the selected message are displayed
  • Users can continue the discussion within that thread

Threads help keep the main conversation clear while allowing focused discussions.

Step 9: Edit a space

Within a space, you can modify its settings by clicking Edit Space.

This allows you to update the configuration or details of the selected space when needed.
